Vintage Oak Wood Night Stick Billy Club antique billy club police baton collectible

This is a vintage wood night stick, also known as a billy club. The detailing on this piece is stunning. It has turned insets around the hand grip, and engraved lines leading to finial styled end. The original finish appears to be faded and worn revealing the natural wood grain and patina. We believe it to be from the 20's. It appears to be oak, or possibly a similar hard wood with nice tight grains.

The night stick measures approximately 22" long, and has a 1 1/8" diameter.

The night stick is in good condition. There are a few gauges/ chips, scuffs, scratches, stains, patina and checking, cracking in the wood from use.
