Absolutely stunning brooch and earring set done in the art nouveau style. Features a flower like shape done in gold with antiqued areas appearing in black and a contrast of white enamel. Centered on the brooch is a large imitation pearl. The earrings replicate the design of the brooch however they were designed in a slightly different shape to frame the face. Would make a lovely gift for a very special lady.
There are no maker marks that we could find. The brooch features a C safety clasp which was used on Art Deco and Art Nouveau pieces in the early part of the 20th century through the middle of the last century. The earrings are clip on.
The brooch has an approximate diameter of 2" at widest, and has a weight of 10.5 grams.
The earrings measure approximately 1" at longest, and 7/8" at widest and have a weight of 3.4 grams each.
The brooch and earrings are in good condition with no broken or missing pieces. Original patina has been left intact, very easy to polish if preferred.
