This is a Vintage Hazel Atlas Hoosier Jar with a yellow painted lid. This canister features a wonderful raised design of squares and borders. It's the perfect size to use for storage of flour, sugar, coffee, or would make a fantastic cookie jar.
It's in good vintage condition with some small flea bites, chips along the rim and one small nick on the side on one of the ribs of the design. There are light surface scratches on the base from normal use. The lid has scratches, scuffs, patina and small spots of light surface rust. It measures approximately 6" square, 8 1/2" tall and has a 5 1/8" opening diameter.
