Antique primitive wood mortar and pestle

This is an antique wood mortar and pestle. Great for apothecary, and kitchen primitives collections. It is all hand turned on a lathe, and the craftsmanship is amazing. This one matches up with the size and style of the medicinal ones we've seen. We are unable to put an exact date on this piece, but it has a lovely patina that only comes with many years.

The mortar is in good condition with some checking/ splitting. The pestle is in good condition with wear to the grinding head, and some checking. The cracks do not go all the way through. There are some small chips/ gauges.Please look over all pictures.
The mortar measures approximately 7 1/4" tall, and has a 5 1/4" opening diameter.
The pestle measures approximately 11" long, and has a 2" diameter.
