This is an Antique Universal Toaster model E7722C. This antique appliance features a door that drops open at an angle in the front for loading and unloading the toast. The wood knob on the front has a very detailed laced metal base that connects to the door that features scrolls and flower like shapes. These antique small appliances are a wonderful example of the craftsmanship, workmanship that was common in those days, built to last lifetimes and so beautiful that you can leave it out on the counter. Perfect to add to a collection of vintage appliances, antique small appliances. The bottom name plate reads " The Trade Mark Known In Every Home, Universal, Made in USA, Landers, Frary & Clark New Britain, CONN, USA, No. E7722C, Volts 110 120, Watts 660.
It's in good antique condition with some surface scratches, spots of patina, stains, light surface rust, pitting. Tested and is working though as you can see in the pictures does not do the best job toasting, one side of the bread on one side did not toast. The cord has some heat marks, melting on the interior of one side.
It measures approximately 7 1/2" long, 5 1/8" wide and 6 3/8" tall.
