This is an antique wood molding plane. It features a solid wood block construction with a rounded shape. Would make an excellent addition to any antique tool collection. It is engraved on the side with Auburn Tool Co Auburn NY and Star logo the numbers 1 6? (hard to see) and the number 180.
It is in good antique condition. There are scratches, scuffs, patina, and staining. There is light surface rust to the metal blade. There is a small crack on one of the top corners. There are small chips, dings, and some checking. Please see pictures.
It measures approximately 9 5/8" long, 5 3/4" tall, and 1 5/8" thick.
