This is a vintage Gaffers and Sattler advertising tea pot. We have seen this called a refrigerator pitcher. This was a promotional item given away with purchase. It features wonderful Art Deco lines and print. Would look great as an accent in any vintage or primitive kitchen. It is stamped on the bottom with Gem Clay Forming Co. Gehring Ohio, though it is hard to read.
It is in good vintage condition. There is crazing in the glaze, and staining. There is one small crack on the rim of the lid shelf, please see picture 5 for detail. There are some small manufacturing flaws like a small pin hole on the top near the opening, all part of its historical charm.
It measures approximately 8" long, 4 1/2" tall, and 4" wide.
