Vintage The Master MFG Co Oil Bottle Sept 14 1926 one quart
This is a Vintage The Master MFG Co Oil Bottle. The metal funnel lid is marked with The Master MFG Co Litchfield ILL. PATD SEPT. 14, 1926. The bottle is embossed with Duraglas Approved Model BW1228 PA Serial M-24 , 64 MINN in a triangle, NC M 10 approved in a circle, One Liquid Quart, MASS 0-11-B Seal in a square, Fill to Line, bottom is dotted and embossed with 7 5 6
The metal has some patina, and some light surface rust on the interior. The bottle has a rough straw mark or fracture that does not go all the way through, it can be felt on the outside of the bottle, but not on the interior of the bottle. Could be a manufacturing flaw. The bottle measures approximately 9 1/8" tall, 3 5/8" base diameter, and 2 5/8" opening diameter. The lid measures approximately 5 1/4" tall and 2 5/8" diameter.
